MANAGER, FINANCE
JOB SUMMARY
Calculated Hire is looking for a Finance Manager to support their Fortune 500 Telecom client. You will be responsible for the financial operation of the management area and management of the day-to-day transactions related to contracts, POs, invoices, voucher logs, month-end close activities and administrative support functions. Primary contact for financial guidance and support.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
B. Manage the accounts payable process, including the review of the General Ledger, invoices and voucher logs.
C. Assist or act as a resource to explain variances to budget and forecast.
D. Review compliance with company policies, procedures and controls as it relates to day-to-day transactions.
E. Assist in the preparation of the quarterly forecasts and annual budget.
F. Manage the purchase order process.
G. Prepare and maintain detail expense spending analysis.
H. Support the month end close process to ensure consistent, timely and accurate completion.
I. Manage the financial data and forecasting of many contract resources on multiple projects.
J. Prepare any ad hoc information and reporting requests from leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
A. Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles
B. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
C. Ability to present financial analysis to management
D. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word software
E. Working knowledge of popular financial management applications
